Product description
tesa® 4964 consists of a tear resistant flexible fabric backing with a rubber adhesive system.

The adhesive has a high coating weight making it well suited for mounting applications on irregular surfaces.

tesa® 4964 can be removed in most cases without leaving adhesive residues from sound surfaces.

Initial tests should be carried out before mounting tesa® 4964 on plasticised surfaces

Main applications
* Carpet laying
* Honeycomb milling
* Laminating of shoe insoles and heel protectors (leather manufacturing)
* Splicing of fabric webs

Additional product versions specially designed for the honeycomb milling application:
PV15: Double sided tape with fabric backing; brown glassine paper liner
PV25: Single sided fabric tape with PET film reinforcement specially designed for vacuum tables, total thickness 440µm
